Tom Adair is an experienced and accomplished expert in lean-continuous improvement and problem solving who has led initiatives with government, pharmaceutical, long term healthcare, hospitals, manufacturing, and commercial organizations.

He has spent nearly 30 years acquiring master sensei-level expertise in all lean systems tools, as he developed and implemented lean systems-based training programs for Toyota Motor Manufacturing, the organization credited as the very source of lean systems principles, methods and techniques.  While at Toyota, Mr. Adair focused upon developing courses for and training others in problem solving, team building, meeting facilitation, instructional techniques, quality circles, standardization, conflict management and other tools and techniques of lean systems (Toyota Production System).   At Toyota, Mr. Adair rose to the role of planner and administrator of the overall strategy for the Quality Circle (QC) Program.  He served as the QC resource for all North American Toyota plants, writing policy and training team members, supervisors and management
